The darkness of MegaKat City’s underground service tunnels fell away, and T-Bone blinked to adjust to the sudden light. Ahead, the latest bomb-crazy maniac was swinging his armored motorcycle left to blast through a chainlink fence. T-Bone started to follow. Until he caught sight of the faded metal sign dangling from the ruined fence. He immediately swung the Cyclotron around, skidding to a stop.

“Idiot just drove into a Megawar II bombing range!” he growled.

“Eh,” Razor tapped his glovatrix, “bombs that old won’t go off.”

“Seriously?” Because that didn’t mesh with anything T-Bone knew.

“Probably.”

“Probably they won’t or probably they will?”

“Yes.”

That was when T-Bone turned enough to catch the mischievous grin tugging at his partner’s mouth.

“Haha.” He cuffed Razor lightly. “C’mon, let’s get the TurboKat and see if we can pluck the idiot outta there before he blows himself up.”

“Already called it,” Razor answered.
