Title: MegaKat City's Sailor Scouts Author: Brittany (Bri Bri) Part 2 "Lucky it's Sunday. I'm still tired from that battle last night," Callie said as she and the other girls were walking to a Diner for a bite to eat. "Yeah, thank the lord that we didn't have to go to work today," Laura said. "I hope my kingdom is going all right," Callisto said worried. Her hair was up in a ponytail and she was wearing a pair of jeans and tank top. "These clothes are actually comfortable." "Good, then that means I am skinny just like you," Felina said. Everyone laughed at her joke, even Callisto. Felina let Callisto stay at her house so Callisto doesn't have to go back and forth from past to the future. "How far is this Diner?" "Not far." Ann answered. "It's right here." She stopped and opened the door. "After you, my friends," she allowed them to enter first. They walked in and Callie noticed two cats anywhere. "Hey, Jake and Chance!" she greeted. They turned around and they saw the cat that was greeting them. "Hey, Cal," they both greeted as they walked to her. They were both wearing baggy blue jeans and white T-shirts. "How's the car?" Callie asked. She noticed that they looked like they've been up late. "Whoa, you guys look beat. How late did you stay up?" "Late," Jake answered. "Your car was really messed up. We both stayed up trying to fix it. It's not even done." "Yikes." Callie hesitated. "You guys didn't need to do that. From now on, take your time, OK?" "Don't you need your car to drive to work?" Chance asked. "Nah. I'll just walk." "That's a long walk." "I need the exercise." "You do?" Laura asked as she looked at her stomach. "You don't need the exercise!" Laura playfully hit her on the back of her head. Everyone laughed. "Quiet you," Callie told her jokingly. "So you guys like to sit with us for breakfast?" she asked Jake and Chance. "Sure," they agreed. They saw Callisto stand next to Callie. "Whoa!" "What?" Callie and Callisto asked jumped. "You never told us that you had a twin!" Jake said. "Who? Callisto?" Callie asked. They nodded. "No relation," Callie and Callisto both said shortly. "Oh." Chance said. "But you two look exactly alike." "We do?" They turned to the other girls. "Do we really?" They looked hard, "Yep, they're right." Laura said. "Callisto take down your hair." Ann told her. Callisto took down her hair. "Yikes! I'm seeing doubles!" "Callie," Jake spoke. She turned to him. "Ever thought of trading spots with Callisto for work? Mayor Manx will never notice." "I should try that sometime." Callie agreed with a giggle. She turned to Callisto. "Callisto?" "Do your own work," she said shortly. "Aw man!" Callie turned around and snapped her fingers from failure. "That was a good idea, Jake." She complimented. "Yeah, too bad Callisto didn't think the same way. Hey where did Callisto come from anyway?" "Out of the country. She is visiting us." "Oh." Jake only said. He glanced at Callisto. No doubt, that is Callisto from the past. I remember when we first met in the past, he thought. "Come on, there's a empty table for seven cats." Callie interrupted Jake's thoughts. She pointed to the table. They all walked to the table and sat down. They all sat in this order, Callie, Jake, Ann, Felina, Callisto, Chance, and Laura. "Did you and Chance order already?" "Yeah, they should see us." Jake answered. The waitress walked to them. "May I take the girls' order?" she asked. The girls nodded. "Yeah, pancakes," said Ann. "Ditto," Laura, Felina, and Callisto all said. The waitress wrote the orders down. "Would you like your usual Callie?" the waitress asked. "Yes." Callie said. "All right. Be back in five minutes." The waitress walked off. "Callie, what do you usually get?" Ann asked. "Green tea. I like the taste." Callie answered. "Well, see you two later," Callie said as she waved good-bye to Jake and Chance. They both waved back as they got into their truck. When they drove off, Callie's friends started giggling. She turned to them. "What?" she asked confused. They giggled more. "What?" "You like him," Ann said, still giggling. "Who?" Callie asked. "Jake," they all said simply. "What? No way, he's only a friend." She said as she blushed. "Yeah right girl! You two were totally flirting." Said Laura. Callie blushed harder. "Well, my advice is you two should go out." "I don't know if he likes me," Callie trying to find an excuse. "And plus, she not only likes Jake. She likes," Felina turns to Callie. "Can I tell them?" "Oh alright!" Callie gave up as she threw her hands up in the air. "But it's kind of stupid and you guys would have found out anyway." "OK," Felina said. She turned to the others. "Razor." "Ooh," they all went. "The SWAT Kat?" "Yep." Callie began to blush. "It's only a crush. And plus, he's only a friend too. Plus even if we did go out, it is kind of hard to go on date considering he wears a mask all the time. I don't know, may be it's because he is a SWAT Kat and everyone would be crowded us." "Hmm, a crush on two cats, Jake and Razor. Quite a decision, Cal." Felina said. Callie nodded. "OK," Callie spoke. "Can we just train for the big battle with NegaVerse or spend rest of the day talking about my crushes." "Yeah, we better train," Callisto agreed to the first choice. Everyone nodded in agreement. "Where shall we train?" "The woods near the beach," Laura suggested. "No one is ever there." "Right," the rest agreed. "T-Bone, shouldn't we be working on Callie's car?" Razor asked as T-Bone was flying the Turbo Kat. "Razor, relax. She said take our time." "Yeah, but…. Never mind," Razor gave up. He looked out the window. "T-Bone?" "Yeah, bud?" "How did Callisto get to the future?" T-Bone shrugged. "Something tells me you are thinking about something else other than Callisto." "What do ya mean?" "I know you, Razor. You are thinking about other things. Now tell." He ordered jokingly. "Well, I'm thinking about that Sailor Moon and her friends. I found out one thing why she looks familiar." "I'm listening." "Well, she looks exactly like the girl from that dream I told you about." "Yeah, you mentioned something about the girl's hair-do. And from what you said, and Sailor Moon's hair matches your description." Razor looked down in the window. His eyes widen. "Speaking of Sailor Moon. There she is with her friends!" T-Bone looked out the window. The girls were on the beach doing something. "Let's land and see what they are up to." T-Bone said as he landed the jet with out the girls noticing. They landed a little far away. T-Bone and Razor were spying from the bushes. "Are they training?" Razor whispered. T-Bone just nodded. The girls were fighting each other and they were using their powers. "Mars Fire Ignite!" shouted Sailor Mars. A huge big ball blazing flames headed toward to Sailor Moon, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Venus. The ground underneath them burst into flames. They jumped out of there soon as possible. Sailor Mars ran to check on them. "Are you three OK?" "Thanks a lot you pyro! You nearly melted my boots!" Sailor Jupiter yelled at her as she checks her boots. "Sorry! I over did it!" Sailor Mars apologized. "It's alright." They forgave her. "Hold on." Sailor Mercury said as she ran to flames. "Shine Aqua Illusion!" A huge amount of freezing ice water waved over the flames to put it out. She walked back. "Problem done." "Thanks." They all said. "Why are we standing here for? Let's get back to work." Mars said. She turned to Sailor Moon. "It's your turn. Let's work on your defense." "Right," she agreed. She got up. "So let's get started." The girls nodded. Then they attacked her with kicks and punches. Sailor Moon dodged, blocked, and jumped each move. "Jupiter Thunder Crash!" "Mars Celestial Fire Surround!" "Mercury Ice Bubbles Freeze!" "Venus Crescent Beam Smash!" Sailor Moon leaped high into the air so she can avoid all the attacks. "Oh yeah! Moon Tiara Magic!" She threw her tiara towards the bushes. "Your aiming is a little off," Sailor Mars said as she stared at the bush. "No it's not," Sailor Moon said as she landed on the ground. Then two guy cats ran out of the bushes being chased by a glowing light. "Whoa what is that thing?" T-Bone ordered as he kept running. "It's my tiara. Stop running, it won't attack you," Sailor Moon explained with a giggle. The guys did what she said and the tiara flew past them. The owner caught it and put it back on her head. Razor winced noticing she looked even more familiar without her tiara on. "See girls, I told you I didn't miss." "How?" everyone asked. "I saw them when I leaped." She explained simply. She turned to the SWAT Kats. "What are you guys doing here?" "Well, um." They didn't know how to answer. "Oh never mind. We all know that the SWAT Kats get a gut feeling." Sailor Moon said. * * * "Sailor Moon?" Sailor Venus spoke. "You and the SWAT Kats can talk. The rest of us will be down the beach training." "OK. See ya in a few." Sailor Moon agreed. The girls walked off. Sailor Moon turned back to the two guys. "OK, what are you guys actually doing here? If it's about last night and me snapping at you guys. Then, I only have one thing to say…" the guys prepared for the insult. "Sorry." The guys hesitated. "I was having an awful night." She turned to walk away. Please don't let them remember the suggestion I made! Oh please, she thought nervously. "Sailor Moon?" they both called. DOH! She turned around. "We have a feeling that it's more than just a awful night." Razor started. "Can you tell us?" "Well," Sailor Moon thought for a moment. Should I? Well if I disagree then they would probably get mad at me for making that suggestion. Well, it wouldn't hurt if they knew a few things. "OK," she gave up. "What would you like to know?" "Well," T-Bone started. "Where are you from and why are you here?" "I am from the moon and I was sent here years ago to fight the NegaVerse. We fought them and defeated them in Tokyo. We came here because we were told to. They said that the NegaVerse would come later. And we are not supposed to fight any battles that are not related to the NegaVerse unless there was no one else to fight them all ready." She answered. "Who's 'they?'" Razor asked. "Queen Serenity, my mother, and our guardians, Luna and Artimis." "What is the NegaVerse?" T-Bone asked. "The NegaVerse is a powerful evil force that wants to take over the universe." "OK, I have really been wondering. Did you have any choice to fight or something?" Razor asked. She hesitated at the question. "No. It was mine and the Sailor Scouts destiny to fight." "Don't you like to fight?" T-Bone asked. "No. I don't like to be Sailor Moon either. Or the moon princess." "Why?" they both asked. "Because I would like to live a normal life. At first I was excited. But then when we kept fighting the NegaVerse non-stop, but actually after our first battle with Queen Baryl, I wanted to live normal. But it seems that it never stops. Each time we fight a new enemy they are always stronger than the others we fought. It just never stops." She notices that they felt bad. "But anyway, someone has to do it. It isn't all bad." Some tears escaped. She quickly wiped them away so they wouldn't notice. But it didn't work. "You didn't have much choice did you?" Razor asked sadly. "Um, no. Unless I disagree to fight, the NegaVerse was sure to win. Sometimes the others get disappointed too." She paused. "So any other questions?" "Uh, yeah." T-Bone spoke. She looked at him. "Can you please let us help? You may not know us but, we really do want to help." Sailor Moon looked at both of them. "I would if the NegaVerse wasn't so powerful." She paused. "Do you really want to know the real reason?" they nodded. "It's because that I don't want you two to get hurt. You may not know, but you guys have save the others and my life so many times. Let's just say it's a return favor." "Are you really that concerned about us?" Razor asked. Sailor Moon nodded. "Say all that you want. But, we are going to help." "Yeah, Sailor Moon. It's our job too for protecting the city." T-Bone agreed. "It's not just the city. It's the whole world." Sailor Moon said. Well, that's the SWAT Kats for you, they always want to help. May be I should…. Wait NO! Don't let them, you idiot! They will get hurt and it would be me to blame! "Well?" T-Bone interrupts her thoughts. "No," she said simply. "You and the scouts can get hurt!" Razor pointed out. "What happens if you guys get hurt or even worse, killed? Then I would feel guilty for letting you help fight! I have been through that before and I don't want to go through it again!" she argued. "You think I make these decisions all the time? It was a royal order not to allow anyone, including brave and smart heroes, to fight in these battles." She relaxes. "Sorry. I didn't again. I gotta go." She ran into the woods. What is wrong with me? I never talk to them like this! She ran through the woods and she reached a spot where she can relax for a minute. It was a waterfall pouring down from a cliff. At the bottom there was a rainbow over the pond. She sat next to the nearest rock. She leaned her chin on her knees that she was holding and just looked into the rainbow. She heard leaves crackling. She didn't bother turning to see who it was. She already knew. "Hey," Razor's voice greeted as he sat next to her. "Hey." She replied. "Where's T-Bone?" "Talking to your friends." A tear escapes Sailor Moon's eye. "You really hate this don't you?" She nodded. "And I want everything to go back." She faces him; he was looking at her confused. "What?" "You just look so familiar. Like I know you really well." "Who do I look like?" Let's see if he is correct so far, she thought. "I can't tell. May be if you take down your hair and take off the tiara. Maybe, you look like someone I know real well. But she doesn't know how to fight." Or does she? "Now, you do know I am not going to show you who I am." "I know. But how do you feel when you fight?" "Confused and depressed." "Why?" "Confused why I have to do this. Why I was the one born on the moon." "And why do you feel depress?" "Because I can't tell these people I care about who I am." She paused with a giggle. "What?" "Any other questions, Mr. Counselor?" "I am like a counselor, huh?" he asked with a giggle. She nodded. Then she frowned. "Why are you doing this?" she asked. "What?" "Why are you like 'being there for me' like close people do. You don't even know me that well." "Well, maybe because you remind me of a close friend other than T-Bone. She is always there for me when I need it and I do the same for her." "You like this girl." Sailor Moon teased not knowing whom he was talking about. "Well," he started to blush. "I actually do like her. But I don't think she likes me. That's why she doesn't know." "You should tell her. You have the same problem as me. I like this guy, and he doesn't know. I want to tell him, but I afraid of his reaction." She was talking about Razor. "You think I should tell her?" she nodded. "I don't know. Maybe I should wait a little." "You can wait a little, but not to long. You'll regret it." "OK, I promise I'll tell her, someday." "Good. I guess we better get back, huh?" He nodded as he got up. Sailor Moon got up next. "Hey thanks for your help." "No thanks necessary." They started to walk back towards the others. When they reached them, they were talking. "Hey, moony, you OK?" asked Sailor Mars. Sailor Moon nodded as she took a glance at Razor and smiled. "Good, you better be." She said jokingly. "We need to practice a little more. It seems like you need a little bit of work on your kick." "How about we help you guys practice?" T-Bone suggested. The girls looked at him. "Ah, come on. We train too you know. Besides we never trained in a while." Sailor Moon thought about it. Well, it could help us, she thought. "OK, but it still doesn't change our minds on you helping us fight. We'll train together, but we deal with our own enemies, K?" The guys nodded in agreement. "OK, what should we start on first?" "Your kicks," Sailor Mars says insulting but it was a joke. Sailor Moon throws her hands up in the air and gives up. "OK! I get it! I have bad kicks! Will work on them!" Everyone laughed. Then Sailor Jupiter got into a position. "OK, Sailor Moon, let's see your high kicks." She put her hand out forward. "Kick this high." She said. Sailor Moon did so. "That wasn't hard." "I don't know why I can't kick good." Sailor Moon said as she stood up in a normal position. "I see why," Razor said. Sailor Moon looked at him. Razor walked over to her and kneeled down and pointed at the problem. "You are keeping your foot on the ground when you use your other leg to kick." "What should I do?" "When you have your foot on the ground, it slows you. Try to jump when you spin for the kick and land after you hit the target. Let me show you. Jupiter if you please?" "Glad to," she said back as she rose her hand back out again. Razor jumped, spun, and kicked. "Ouchy." Sailor Jupiter whimpered as she held her hand close to her. "Sorry," Razor apologized. "Accepted." She said normally. Razor turned back to Sailor Moon. "Now you try it." Sailor Moon walked up to Jupiter. Sailor Jupiter raised her hand. Sailor Moon did exactly what Razor did. She kicked Sailor Jupiter's hand hard. "OOOOOWWWWWW!" Sailor Jupiter screamed. She crouched as she held her hand in pain. "My hand!" "Sorry, Jupiter. I didn't know I would kick harder than Razor." Sailor Moon apologized. "It was the HEELS!" "Oooo," everyone chorused at the feeling of the pain. "I am so sorry, Jupiter!" Sailor Moon apologized. "I didn't know that the heels wouldn't make any difference." "Think about it, Moon." Sailor Mercury spoke. "Razor hit her hand hard but he was barefoot. I think you hit her hand just as hard but you had boots with heels." "That gotta hurt," T-Bone said. "I say Sailor Moon got her kicks down. Let's move on." Sailor Jupiter said quickly.
