Unexpected Ally 4 the SWAT Kats: part 2

Summary: Continuation of Part 1.  Dark Kat tells Amy the truth about the 
death of her mother, Annabella Briggs.

	In the cold storage room of the tuna factory, Amelia Briggs and 
Felina Feral were being gagged 2 death and were mere minutes away from a 
slow, painful, and poisionus death from black widow spiders.  Amy struggled 
to get free from the gags in her, but Dark Kat's kreeplings tied up the 
ropes to tight for her to remove.  Suddenly, she had an idea.  Using her 
elbows and knees, she managed 2 push herself up2 the top of the storage 
room.  She was about 2 make another move, when Felina frantically shook her 
head no.
"She's right," she thought.  "If I try to stand, I might lose my balance and 
fall."
	She then turned herself to the other side and started 2 pound on the 
storage room door.  As she was about to bang her feet again, she heard 
several kreeplings attacking and guns going off.  Afterwards, there was 
silence.  They guessed that some showed up and Dark Kat and his kreeplings 
killed him or her.  Still, she knew that if they didn't do something, it 
would be their deaths in a few seconds.  She banged frantically over and 
over again to try 2 pry the door open.  
	After a few seconds of hesitation, she heard some1 push some sort of 
heavy piece of metal away from something.  After a few more seconds, the 
mystery kats opened the door and shinged a light over the helpless female 
enfocers.  They then shot the black-widows that were 3 inches away from 
Felina's face.  They immedietely reconized their savoir's faces as the SWAT 
Kats: T-bone and Razor.
	Razor quickly untied the gag around Amy's mouth and she drastically 
fought to catch her breath.
"You ok, Detective?"
"Y...yeah..I think...so.  Just need a few moments to...catch my...breath..."
"That's a relief," said a relieved Razor.  He then felt her shoulders to see 
if she was injured in any part of her body or not.  "How come your all wet?"
"Briggs and I swam all the way here.  That was about...2 hours..," Felina 
answered.
"Two hours?! No wonder you feel so cold." T-bone remarked as he untied 
Felina.
"You kats're gonna hear a lot of this from everyone, so might as well hear 
it from me 1rst," Amy responded.
"Uhh...that would be?" Razor asked nervously.
Amy's cold, stern look went to a warm and friendly smile.  "Thank you."
	Razor lightly blushed and removed the rest of the bonds around her 
athletic body.  As the SWAT Kats helped the Lutenit and Sergeant out of the 
cargo room, a giant hook swan their way.  The SWAT Kats pushed the female 
defenders out of harm's way.
"Missed.  How nimble of me...."
"Ahhh CRUD!!!!  How can he be up so fast?!" T-bone asked with rage.
"Dark Kat...u're under arrest!" Amy remarked.  She reached to grab one of 
her gun, but finds it missing.
"Looking for this, Detective Briggs?" Dark Kat asked slyly as he removed a 
weapon from his cloak.
"Crud! He knows I can't fight him without my 9mm!  That sleeze-bag!"
"Shame u 2 ladies have to stay out of the fun," T-bone teased.
	T-bone and Razor fired at Dark Kat while Felina and Amy watched, 
both envious that they had to stay out of the fight.  Amy suddenly came up 
with a brilliant idea.  Spotting a rope around, she grabed it and made a 
small loop within it, big enough 4 a kat's head to fit through.  Dark Kat 
grabbed the SWAT Kats by the throats and hurled them against the walls, 
badly injuring their heads.
"GEEEZ!  How much pain does this kat gotta put us through?!" Razor asked in 
rage.
"Believe me, buddy; you don't want to know."
"Now I'll be rid of you pesky SWAT Kats once and for all!" Cried out Dark 
Kat.
	However, before Dark Kat could make his move, Amy manged to throw 
the loop around Dark Kat's throat and started tugging on him tightly.  He 
desperetly tried to break free from her force, but Amy proved to be stronger 
then she looked.  Felina then grabbed the weapons from him and tossed Amy 
her 9mm blaster.  She then shot a few rounds which hit Dark Kat's shoulder 
real badly.  He turned around and saw Amy's face.  The bangs of her 
strawberry-blonde hair was in her face, and the area around her eyes were 
scarred.  Her shoulders were badly scarred, and her leg was bleeding.  She 
pointed her 9mm blaster at his head.  But intead of cowarding like most 
criminals would when the cops had the drop on them, he only smiled and 
chuckled evily.
"Hmmm...heh heh heh...well done, Sergeant Briggs.  Perhaps I under-estimated 
you.  You're very strong...just like your mother before she died so many 
years ago."
"Huh?  You...you knew my mother?!"
"KNEW her? Sergeant, I was the that KILLED  her."
"But...but that can't be!  She...she died in a car crash when I was a little 
kitten!"
"That was a lie, Briggs.  The police department at your home-town only told 
you and your brothers that so they wouldn't fear me.  Ah, I still remember 
this; u didn't even have a father.  They only people that raised you were 
your 5 older brothers Sydney, Jason, Billy, Zach, and Tommy.  To the point, 
though.  
	"During the late 60's, your mother was a secret agent for the FBI.  
On 1 of her missons during the early 70's, she was out to capture me and 
bring me into custody.  She found me at my secret base at Antarctica.  She 
ruined my plans to conquer the entire planet, so for that, I assinated her. 
Now you know the truth, Sergeant."
	The shock about the truth of her mother's death sent tears of anger 
and sadness down her soft cheeks.  Anger that Dark Kat murdered her mother 
along and the police department lied about her death, and sadness that the 
fact was she would never see her mover again.
"Geez....I feel sorry for that girl" T-bone whispered to Razor.
	With that speech, Dark Kat sent T-bone, Razor, and Felina hurling 
against the wall, making them both appear dead.
"T-BONE! RAZOR! FELINA!!! Now THEY'RE dead!  This can't be; it's all a 
nightmare!"
"You only wish that, Briggs.  But don't worry; you'll be seeing your mother 
soon...in the after-life!"
	He then grabbed her by the neck and started choking her to death.  
He then turned his walking stick into a dealy spear.
"Finally!  I shall have my revenge on the Briggs family for GOOD!!!!  Now to 
do what I should've done 20 years ago!"
	Amy shut her eyes tight, more tears coming down her cheeks, waiting 
for her death to come.  As Dark Kat was about to stick the spear into Amy's 
left bosum, ending her life, a fist appeared out of the darkness and stabbed 
him long enough to rescue Amy.
"Th...thanks, Razor," Amy said gratefully as she quickly wiped away her 
tears in hope that he didn't see her crying.  "But I could've handled it on 
my own."
"Oh, yeah.  You sure proved that to us.  Sergeant, listen to me on this one.  
You've been really brave in your life, going through all this.  Having no 
parents, only having your older male siblings to take care of you.  But 
you've been too brave for too long.  It's time you started depending on 
others now and then."
"Well...I'll try.  Thanks for saving my life."
	Felina and T-bone had just regained conscience then.  
"Man...what a headache.  I feel as though my brain was pulled out." Felina 
responded as she was easing the pain off her head.
"Ditto here, Lutenit.  What just happened, Razor?"
"Believe me, T-bone; you don't want to know."
	Moments later the enforcers arrived and took Dark Kat into custody.  
He then growled when he went passed Amy.
"You won't get away with this, Amelia Briggs.  I will have my revenge.  You 
will die, I'll make sure of that; just like I made sure that your mother 
died."
	Amy just pretended that he hadn't spoke, but inside, she felt scared 
and angry at Dark Kat for murdering the only parent who stayed with her 
after she was born.  Commander Feral then stared down at Amy.
"What was THAT all about, Sergeant."
"I wish I could tell you, sir.  However, it's to personal."
"Enforcers shouldn't be so secretive, Sergeant.  In fact, you're no longer 
fit to be in that position."
"WHAT?!" T-bone exclaimed.  
"You're going to fire her like you fired Jake Clawson and Chance Furlong?!" 
Felina asked in total shock.
	Amy just remained calm, allowing Feral to take away her Enforcer 
badge.  He then gave her a brand new one.  It was made of pure silver and 
shiny like the stars that glittered in the night.  On it, was a label that 
said 'Captain.'
"Captain, sir? You...you mean I'm...I'm...PROMOTED?!"
"You earned it, Briggs.  Most enforcers spend their days off at the theaters 
or at their homes; you used it to stop a massive take-over of our beloved 
city.  MEN!"
"Yessir!!" Every one of Feral's enforcers shouted as they saluted.
"Meet our newest enforcer captain, Amelia Briggs.  We can all learn a lot 
from her.  Take note, men; she'll now be our new 3rd-in-command."
"This...this' such an honor, sir.  Thank you!  I promise you, sir, I'll be 
the best enforcer captain that you ever had!  I won't let you down!"
"I know you won't, Ser...err, Captain.  Report for duty next Monday morning!"
"SIR!  YES SIR!"
	They then did the military salute and everyone left the Tuna Factory.  
The next day, Jake was reading the paper, looking over the article on how 
Amy, Felina, and the SWAT Kats saved MegaKat City from destruction.  It was 
sunset, but it looked completely dark due to the rain clouds covering the 
sky.  It then began to pour, and the cold and bitter wind made it's 
enterance.
"I now know most of Amy's life, but I still don't know why she ran inside 
when I was about to kiss her?"
"Maybe she's not interested in going out with auto-mechanics that were once 
enforcers, Jake."
"Then why'd she agree to out with me the other night to pay for the repairs 
on the motorcycle in the 1rst place?"
"Don't ask me; I'm no detective."
	Suddenly, Jake saw a glimpse of his hot crush walking on the path 
near the Salvage Yard.  She was in a white shirt that ended half-way at her 
stomach, with blue skin-tight jeans with holes in the knee area, parts of 
her thighs, and claves.  She also had white tennis shoes.  Over her white 
shirt, she wore a brown jacket that said "China Kat" on the black.  The 
sleeves were black and she had a small blue back-pack around her right arm.  
Jake ran up to her.
"Amy!" he kept calling out to her.
"Jake! Uhh....listen, about the other night..."
"In a minute.  I read about you in the paper.  It said that you 
single-handedly captured the crime-lord known as Dark Kat; congradulations!"
"Gee, Jake...thanks.  Listen, about the other night...well, this' why I did 
what did..."
	She then hestitated a little bit, took a huge breath, and told Jake 
the entire story.  The sky was then pitch black and rain was even harder 
then before.  After she told him, he had a look of shock on his face, but 
now he understanded completely.
"So, due to the actions of Mike Mouser, you were afraid to let another guy 
into your life, afraid that the same thing would happen again?"
"I know it sounds stupid, Jake, but...I didn't want to be hurt again.  One 
he-kat cheating and hurting me behind my back is enough in my life."
"I didn't say it was stupid, Amy, and I understand completely.  But you have 
to understand that not all men are like that.  I'm not like that.  I can 
prove it to you that I'm nothing like Mike Mouser, and that I love you 
madly, Amelia Briggs."
	 With that, he kissed her deeply.  After a couple of minutes, he 
released his lips from hers.  Amy blushed incredibly and was caught 
off-guard for once in her life.
"I...I've never been kissed like THAT in a long, LONG time.  I forgot what it
felt..."
	But Amy couldn't finish, because Jake kissed her again.  He placed 
his arms around her and kissed her over and over and over until she started 
kissing him back.  She flung her arms around his neck, kissing each other 
several times.  She then stopped for a couple of seconds to catch her 
breath.  She lightly placed her head on Jake's shoulder while he ran his 
fingers through her hair, carressing her body around his.
"I never thought a relationship...."
"Please, Amelia...don't speak unless you abselutely have to.  I want to 
enjoy this moment while we can, because like all good times, they must 
end..."
"You mean...the realtionship?"
"I meant this moment, Amelia; the kissing moment."
	He then held her hand and gripped it tightly that she couldn't let 
go, ut loosely so that he wouldn't be hurting her fragile yet firm hand.  
They then kissed again, this time it was long, deep, and passionate kiss, 
refusing to let each other go, for the thought of having to.  Even through 
the cold and stormy night, their relationship brought sunlight and warmth 
between them, knowing that not even an event in the past can separate the 
happy love-birds.

The End-I'm sorry it took so long to bring you part 2, dear readers.  I had 
a hard time, due to parental controls, and school and stuff.  I hope you all 
enjoyed it, and I'll do everything I can to send you my next masterpiece.
