A dim light danced in a fire pit as the snaky doctor hissed to himself. His blue and green scales shimmered in the dim light as he made his way over to a fairly large cage, a cage large enough to hold a medium sized dinosaur.

“Yesss, my pet, you’ll be set free soon,” Dr. Viper hissed as he admired his beast.

The beast turned her head around and half-growled half-laughed a hyena laugh. Her boar-like tusks glowed a faint white in the dim light and the tip on her scorpion tail faintly glowed as well. Big gray wings sprouted from the top of her shoulders, big enough to carry her tyrannosaurus-sized body. Although her body was as big as a dino’s, it was more the shape of a boar’s. And, attached to her powerful shoulders there was a wolf’s head with the tusks of a boar and the fangs of a cobra. Neurotoxins ran down her chin from the cobra fangs, and a drip of venom hung on the end of her scorpion tail. And, holding up this massive body were legs that resembled a lion’s, just they were bigger and more suited for holding up such a great weight of seven tons. But, at the end of her legs were not big paws but huge crocodilian feet so she could swim if she had to go into the water. Tiger-stripes wrapped her monstrous frame so she could possibly hide in the shadows. And, to top it off, this beast had the mind of a young she-kat. She could speak in the tongue of all the animals she was composed of and still speak a little bit of kat.

“You just need to learn some obedience,” Dr. Viper hissed as he reached for a collar.

At the sight of the collar the beast got restless. She stood up on all four feet and ruffled her feathery wings. Her long, shaggy pelt swayed back and forth as she bobbed her head up and down like a bird. As Dr. Viper started to walk back with the collar in his claws, the beast hissed like the cobra she had mixed in her.

“Calm down,” Dr. Viper growled as he reached up to put the collar on the tyrannosaurus-sized beast.

As she struggled against the collar, she hit the back of the cage. The bars were loosely put here. Banging her tail against the bars, she managed to get them loose enough that she could break through them.

“Uh oh…” Dr. Viper hissed as his creation broke out of his barely lit lab. He could hear the splashing of her feet as she took off through the swamp. “Thisss is not good.” Dr. Viper jumped up and followed his creation.
