Lost Love and Lost Courage
Part 2


Last chapter, Chance/Metalder again met his old galamon friend Rengue - a Rune
Venus that found three of eight children of virtue.
But, one of them has an evil eye and Demitri wants to open it, whatever it takes.
Now, the continuation…

Joe explained everything he knew about Yue's father and his grandfather's past to
help the others understand the case of the evil eye.

"You mean your grandfather's was a dark surgeon that implanted an evil eye on
Yue's father?" asked Airos, very worried, as Joe nodded to him. Airos knew the
legend of the evil eye and that it could be very dangerous.

"Airos, do you know something about the evil eye?" asked Chance, worried.

Then, he explained everything he knew about the evil eye.

"You mean, if the evil eye opens, the person that has one will be out of control?"
asked Lance, scared, he fell if he was in a horror story.

"We have to save her, but we need to find the amulet of courage to defeat Demitri. 
Remember, he killed Angelus a celestial-dog galamon and the celestial galamon are
the most powerful.  I need to be at least on mega level," said Chance then Trace
asked that he meant about being on the mega level.

"Every galamon has three levels. First is the mighty level, our first form.  Second is
the mega, we change forms.  It happened with Bado.  And, the last is the master
level. Trace, I need your Pegasus stay here with Wingthunder and Lance to take
care of Tobias. I need you, Airos and Joe, to help me to find Yue before the worst
happens," said Chance to his friends, very worried about Yue. He never could
think that sweetie kitty had a something evil on her body.

  Meanwhile, Yue was trying to escape from the cage using her strength; she
couldn't use her power because Rengue was sensitive to cold.

"You can stop that - I have you now and I want you to open your evil eye right
now!" ordered Dimitri.

"I'm sorry, but it will be impossible. I'm a very calm kitty," said Yue bravely, but
Demitri just smiled.

"Let's see how much calm you are," said Dimitri with a cold voice and then he
kicked Rengue.

Yue tried to help her friend, but Dimitri threw her into the wall. Suddenly, a sword
appeared in his hand, and he killed Rengue.  Yue cried when she saw the scene.  A
tiny diamond sphere fell to the ground.  Then, she began to glow bright black.

What Dimitri didn't know was that he had made his worst mistake that will cost his
life.

On the streets, Chance in his Kakaroto form was smelling the ground to find a clue
of Yue.  Suddenly, he felt something very powerful, and then, they all heard an
explosion.

"What was that?" asked Trace, very scared.

Chance, Trace, Joe, and Airos arrived at the place.  They saw Demitri with an
adult she-kat wearing black armor.  She had a third eye in her forehead. She
looked very like with Yue if she were herself in her adult form.

"Oh no, Yue became a demon!" said Joe.  His worst nightmare had come true.

They all got a surprise when they heard what Joe said.

"Well, let me present Black Moon - the new member of Ness.  Black Moon, show
them what you can do," chuckled Dimitri.

Suddenly, the shape of a blade sword crossed Dimitri's body; it was Yue's sword.

"Who told you I was a member of Ness? That's ridiculous!" said Black Moon as
she was removing her sword from Dimitri's body.

She got Dimitri by the neck just with one hand. Then, a black dragon tattoo
appeared on Yue and she burned Demitri with black flames.  He became ashes.

Chance couldn't believe what Yue had done; she had used the dark flames, and the
only ones can who control that kind of power are warriors of blood or darkness. 

Joe knelt, thinking he had lost his best friend forever.

"Don't give up, Joe," whispered Trace to Joe.

"Now, who will be my next challenge?" asked Yue, now Black Moon.

"I will be your challenge, Black Moon," said Airos to Black Moon.

Chance couldn't believe what Airos had said; he would fight against with a child of
virtue - the only hope of the entire universe?   No, he must be thinking of
something to bring that little sweet child back.

Airos looked at Trace and Trace nodded to him.  Then, he got his amulet of virtue
and hope.  Suddenly, it began to glow bright.

"Amulet that hides forces of Hope! Show your true shape to me! I, Trace,
command you under contract! Release! Power of Hope!"

 Then, Airos began to change. His mechanical wings became true and beautiful
white wings, his orange fur became white as well.  He was wearing silver armor, in
his hand was a golden bow.  He had become a kind of knight angel. Then, his body
began to shine.

"Celestial Windy."

Suddenly, a white wind came that curled around Yue's body, holding her in place.
The windy was around the evil eye, then, the evil eye closed and Yue changed
back to a child.

"Wow, what happened?" asked Yue as Chance was helping her to get up.

"Yue, are you okay?" asked Chance as Yue shook her head.

Chance understood what must really have happened; he didn't feel Rengue's life
energy anymore, and he knew what that meant.
 
"Yue, Demitri killed Rengue, didn't he?" asked Chance.

Yue didn't replay, just tears rolled down off her face as they became tiny diamonds.

When Joe got up to see if Yue was OK, suddenly a chair hit Joe, and he was
pushed to a shadowy figure.  It was Hacker.

"HACKER!! LET HIM GO!" yelled Chance as Hacker was chuckling evilly.
 
"Oh, Come on! Are you not in your original form yet? I am disappointed in you,
especially when you didn't know the amulet was with him all this time?" said
Hacker, but Chance and Airos didn't know what he meant by that.

"Alright then, I will give you a clue. Do you know about the pure heart crystal?"
asked Hacker as Chance remembered something when he mentioned the pure heart
crystal.

"Well, the pure heart crystal is the life of all living creatures in the universe. The
pure heart has in it the dreams, feelings, emotions, everything is in it. It is the life.
If anyone doesn't have it, they will die. The pure heart crystal also can have
amulets or its own celestial armor. Let's see if this boy has the amulet or the
armor," said Hacker as he was pointing to Joe's back where his heart was, a gun in
his left hand. 

Hacker hit Joe's heart.  Joe's crystal heart started to show on his chest. It started
glowing and showing off powers. 

Chance tried to do something to stop Hacker, but it was a barrier that no one
could to cross.

Joe felt the crystal slip out of his chest.  Little by little, he began to feel his life rush
out of him with his crystal. He couldn't stand anymore.... It was the end for
him....... His last look was Yue looking at him in despair.  Hacker got what he
wanted.... and Joe couldn't do anything.  He gave up... and fell asleep...... and he
wanted to fall asleep so bad.... He was so tired....... So tired...... that he could
sleep........ forever.....

Hacker got Joe's pure crystal heart.  Then, it transformed into an amulet with the
symbol of a feline.  It was the amulet of courage of Avallon.

Hacker let Joe fall down.  Airos got Joe before he hit the ground as Hacker
disappeared into the air.

Airos looked at Joe. He was limp and unconscious.

Chance, Trace and Yue rushed over them. Yue held him in her arms.

He groaned to see if they could hear him. 

"Joe, are you ok? Please, answer me," said Yue shaking his body.

"Yue… Let...me....sleep," whispered Joe as he was closing his eyes.

Joe was very pale, like a ghost. His eyes had a dead color to him, not the blank
eyes. He looked like he hadn't slept for months on end. 

Chance looked at him. He would survive....for a little while.....or more.......

"Let's get him to the hangar, guys," said Airos, taking Joe in his arms as Trace,
Chance and Yue nodded to him.

They all rushed to the Hangar.

Airos and Chance were checking on his pulse and trying to keep him alive.... when
they knew he was going to die. They knew that they couldn't do anything...but
make him comfortable.

In the Hangar, Joe was in the bed. Tobias was at his side.  He had gotten better
now, but he was more worried about his friend than himself. 

Chance explained everything that had happened to Lance, Wingthunder and
Artemis.

"You mean Joe will die?" asked Lance softly as Airos nodded to him.

"It's all my fault, if I...," began Chance as Airos put his hand on Chance's shoulder.

"It's not your fault. We didn't know that Hacker was here too. Now that we found
out one of children have the armor or the amulets in their bodies we have to
protect them more than ever," said Airos to Chance.

Then, Tobias came to them.  He was crying and the others knew what that meant;
Joe had died. Tobias was crying in Lance's lap as Lance was caressing him,

"Where's Yue?" asked the little kitty as his galamon came to them with an envelop
in his beak. Tobias then read Yue's note:

"Dear Tobias and friends,
I am want be alone.  It's my fault Joe died. I'm going to another dimension to train
myself to control the evil inside of me. And, I want fight against Hacker to take
back Joe's amulet. Please don't try to follow me. Yue."

Chance took a breath and spoke.

"Guys, you have come back to our dimension with Tobias now. I will go after her
before she kills herself.  And, I have to help us all," said Chance to his friends.

Chance run away.  Lance was about to follow him when Trace stopped him.
 
"They both need time to think. We have to trust them," said Trace to Lance.

In another side of city, Yue looked at the full moon, thinking about Joe.

She read from a strange notebook and spoke some weird words. Suddenly, a
portal opened and she crossed it.
