Title: Manga meets Maimo Author: Rebecca Mason Manga laid in a green meadow that was covered in colourful flowers. The sky was a clear blue. She slept under the warmth of the sun. "Ahh, this is the life....... WHAT THE????" All of a sudden Manga felt like something was watching her. She looked up into the sky; it had turned a dark purple and had blood-red clouds swirling around. She got up lightning-fast and saw that all the grass and flowers had vanished and was replaced by a dark barren land-scape. "No No Noooo!!! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!!" She started to panic and ran. She heard screaming and began to worry. She ran to a particular spot and her mouth dropped wide open. There laid all her friends, still and quiet. She dropped to her knees and wept. Then out of the darkness a figure spoke. "Hah Hahh Hahhh - looks like you're all alone now......" She got up; somehow she knew who it was. "You!! I thought you...." The figure smiled evilly. "Left? Died? Vanished? Well, looks like I had the last laugh." The figure stepped out of the shadows and revealed himself to be Manga's good-for-nothing... "DAD!!" Manga backed off as she screamed at him. "How could you?!" She looked through tear-filled eyes at the dark-coloured Kat. All of a sudden he took out an axe. "WHAT!!!! What are you gonna do with that?" she asked him. "The same thing I did too your friends." He swung the axe down towards her. She screamed. "Hey, Manga, what ya screaming for?" "Huh?" Manga opened her eyes and looked up. She saw Ragina looking down at her. "Oh, Ragina, I had this terrible dream....." Ragina looked down at her in a sympathetic way. "Oh, yeah Manga, Harley's run into a bit of trouble....." Manga screamed. "Is he okay?!!!" Ragina laughed. "Hah Hahh. Of course he's alright - it's just that he's run into a little bit of trouble with a little kitten." Manga snorted (She was giggling). She couldn't help it; she likes Harley but running into trouble with a kitten..... Both She-Kats went outside where they found Harley cowering in a corner. Manga walked over to Harley. "Hey, Harley, where is the li'l tyke?" "He's over there. He has my Dad's bowling ball. Please get it back, Manga." Manga raised one eye-brow. "Please, Manga, it's the only thing of my Dad's that I've got." Manga walked over to the little kitten which held the bowling ball staring at it in wonder. "Hey kid, hand over the ball." The kitten looked up at her with big brown eyes and said, " My Ball!!!!!" Manga began to tense. "Give it here, kid!!!!" The naked kitten clutched hold of the shiny bowling ball. "My Ball!! Go 'way!!!!" "That does it! Poke-ball go!!!!!" Manga sent out her Pokemon Pikachu. The kitten watched in wonder as the red and white ball opened out and a yellow mouse-thing came out. "Pika!!!!" The kitten was now interested in the yellow mouse. He looked at the bowling ball and chucked it. "AARRRGGGHHH!!!!! MANGA, THE BALL!!!!!!" Manga caught it and threw it to Harley. "I got it, I got it!!" The bowling ball flew over Harley's head. "I don't got it!!" Ragina caught it. "Pheww, that was close!!" Meanwhile, Manga decided to take the wild-kitten in as another friend. "Okay, Peeky, Thunder-Shock... Er... make that a small static bolt." "Pika, PIIIIIKKKKAAAchuu." The static bolt hit the kitten knocking it out. She carried the little kitten in her arms. Back at the Garage, Manga showed the kitten to Max and Mike. Max looked at the kitten. "Oh man, where'd ya find him........in a trash can?" Mike backed off from the kitten. "EEEEYech!!!!! He smells like he came from a trash can. Manga blushed. "Oh, that'll be his diaper.... I put it on him as soon as I brought him back." "Hey, Manga, what's he called?" Max asked. Manga thought of a name. "Well, he almost slobbered all over Harley's Dad's bowling ball and was fascinated with my Pikachu, so I'll name him Maimo..." ................. Well, it looks as if Manga has a new friend, but will Maimo be the perfect li'l warrior? Find out in the next chapter of Manga meets Maimo.
