Title: Manga meets Maimo, part 2

     Manga woke from another nightmare.  This one had been even more
scarier than the last, and it was even more gruesome. She wept for a few minutes,
and Peeky came out to comfort her. She walked downstairs and fell asleep on the
sofa. 

     Ragina went to tell the rest of the gang about her nightmare. 

     ".......and she just woke up and started crying." 

     Max thought very hard. "Hmmmm, didn't she have a nightmare a week
ago?" 

     Ragina nodded her head. "Yeah, only this one was even more horrible." 

     Harley came down the stairs with his teddy bear under one arm and held a
night light in the other. "What's going on?" he said while yawning. 

     Manga woke up again and walked over to the gang. "Hi guys.  Say, does
Maimo need a diaper change?" 

     Max spun around. "....uh..nahh, but we're all going scouting around the city
to make sure the city is okay."  

     Manga went to get Maimo up. "Okay, wait here while I get Maimo."  She
rushed upstairs and got Maimo. 

     "Ba Ba!!" the kitten said as Manga carried him downstairs. 

     "I'm sorry, Maimo, but we're all going for a scout around town and guess
what?" 

     The kitten looked at her. "Ga.....?" 

     Manga smiled. "You get to come with us." 

     Later on, everyone was in the Mega-Turbokat getting ready to go. 

     "OOh, I can't wait - we're going scouting."  Ragina bounced up and down
with excitement. 

     Chance (T-bone) turned around to scowl at her.  "Hey, careful, Ragina - I
just fixed up the jet and I don't want you messing it up on its first day running!!" 

     Ragina froze with fear.  "You mean you've never tested this thing before?!" 

     T-bone laughed. "Hey, Razor, that's what Felina said when we tested out
the ol' Mole-Machine." 

     Razor smiled.  "Yeah, you're right."  

     Soon they were flying over MegaKat City. Manga held Maimo as she
showed him the city, Manga smiled down as he stared in awe at the tall
sky-scrapers. 

     When they got back, Manga took Maimo up to her room and placed him in
his cot. She gave him his (well chewed) chew toy and watched as he pounced on
it.  He got it between his two li'l fangs and shook it hard.  Manga glanced down at
him and almost fainted.  The face he pulled as he attacked the chew toy looked
exactly like her nasty father from her nightmares. She screamed and ran down the
stairs. 

     Max, Mike, Harley and Ragina, Jake B., Jake, Chance, and the rest of the
group were there to see what the fuss was about. 

     "Hey, Manga, what's the matter?" 

     Manga cried out through wailing and yelling. "Maimo's my daddddd!!!!!!!
He's come into the future somehow - he's turned into a kitten - he's gonna hurt
me!!!!!!!"

     The rest of the gang stared at her with wide mouths. 

     "What?" Harley asked the distressed she-kat.

     In an answer, Manga grabbed Harley by the arm and led him up to the
room.  "LOOK LOOK IN THERE!!!!!" 

     Harley looked into the cot; little Maimo was nibbling on the chew toy
looking very content with himself.  Harley stared in puzzlement at the baby kitten
then looked at Manga. 

     "Er, Manga, you're getting delirious." 

     Manga knew Maimo was her father and she wouldn't calm down. 

     That night Manga talked to her Peeky. 

     "Oh Peeky, he's so cute and vulnerable, but he's my father.  I just know he's
my father." 

     "Pika Pi chuu." Peeky understood how Manga felt. 

     Manga settled down for the night and hugged her Peeky tight.  Very soon
she fell asleep.
