Hi. Here is the next brilliant, but confusing, part of Manga Meets Maimo. This
time Manga tries to find out if Maimo is who she thinks he is.

     The sun rose into the sky.  Manga woke up feeling great; she hadn't had a
single nightmare and she'd at last had a good night's sleep.  But, she was still
unsure about little Maimo. 

     As they walked up to Professor Hackle's home, Harley tried to persuade
Manga to not worry. 

     "Oh, come on, Manga, how can Maimo be your dad....?  I mean, I don't
even know how your father looks!!" 

     Manga didn't seem to listen. 

     "Hey, Manga, are you listening?!!" Ragina yelled. 

     Soon, they were there.  Manga hesitated a bit.  She dreaded to think how
Hackle looked now. 

     "He must be at least over 100!!!!" Manga thought, but as she lingered by
the porch it began to thunder. "Oh, what the heck - I'm going in." Manga ran in
with Harley and Ragina following close behind her. 

     "Oh hello, kids, what brings you here?" an old kat said as he walked to
greet them in. 

     "Oh, hi, Professor, well we... er... brought this kitten cos I think it's my
dad." Manga said trying not to sound too stupid. 

     Professor Hackle's eyebrows raised a bit slightly.  "Your Father!!!!! 
Hmmm, well, I suppose it could be him."  He walked over to one of his computers
and typed Manga's dad's name into the computer.  The computer suddenly flashed
to life and information ran down the screen.

     Harley couldn't resist putting in a jibe. "Hey, look, Manga, looks like your
Dad is famous." 

     Manga's eyes narrowed. "The only thing he's famous for is being a jerk!!"
she told Harley.

     "Okay, no need to be so harsh - sheesh!!" 

     Professor Hackle looked at all the information. "Well, Manga, I can say
that you don't have to worry about Maimo being your Father......"  Manga's eyes
opened wide.  "....in fact little Maimo is your baby brother." 

     "My Brother!!!!!" 

     Harley went and scanned the information off the computer. "Professor
Hackle's right Manga.  Maimo is your little brother...  The information said your
father married again in 2014 and that same year his new wife had a kitten. 
Unfortunately, they couldn't think of a name. About two years later, they were on a
boating trip through MegaKat Swamp.  The kitten was at home. News came in the
next day that there'd been a boat accident in the swamp.  Only one body had been
found and that was that of a she-kat, but the tom-kat (your Father) hadn't been
found. Some katizens said he'd probably been pulled down into the depths of the
swamp.  Others said he could possibly have been killed by an alligator or Dr
Viper.  Most katizens said good riddance." 

     Manga smiled. "Oh well, at least I don't have to worry about getting hurt by
him anymore." 

     That evening they were back in the garage. 

     "So, Manga, how did the search go?" Chance asked the young she-kat as
she laid on the sofa.  But, she was going to sleep. 

     *Yawn*  "Don't ask...."  Manga finally went to sleep.  She was happy now
she knew that Maimo wasn't her father.
