(The Archeivers of Imperial Chronicles) (Part 1: The End) (Formally known as and taken from: The Archeivers Saga) (Author: Ryan [Your nickname here] Kelley) (GVVY03@SNOWCREST.NET) ________________________________________________________________________ Author's Note: Archeivers Saga and Archeivers of Imperial Chronicles are basically the same. Archeivers of Imperial leaves off where Archeivers Saga left off. This name change is due to that Archeivers Saga is created much faster than I'm able to put down, and have given up. ________________________________________________________________________ Prologue: Somewhere else in that dimension, a force began to grow. It was small, but grew every second. It's eyes opened, and it was given life. It's soul purpose, not yet determined, but it knew that it wanted everything destroyed that stood in it's way. It took on a human form. It remembered itself. He was called Gybersk. It wanted revenge. ________________________________________________________________________ The Archeivers of Imperial Chronicles Part 1: The End By: Ryan Kelley ________________________________________________________________________ Part One: Back near Nyssle (Pronounced: Nis-sill), Ithicar and Augestus walked beside the SWAT Kats. It was close to sunset. "Chance," Ithicar asked, "I'm wondering, Is there any other places outside Imperial?" "Uh... yeah." T-Bone said. "There's Megaluna, but you can't get there from here. Whydja ask?" "What's it like?" Ithicar asked. "I grew up there. It's nothing like you've ever seen. I couldn't describe it." Chance said. "It seems that Imperial is so much the same everywhere. I'd like to see another world." Ithicar said. "Me too." Augestus agreed. Later, the SWAT Kats opened up a door to a dark room in their house. The door squeaked heavily on it's hinges, and dust covered everything, like a sheet covered the entire room. the dim lights in the neglected basement were flicked on. The spiders ran to places of shade. In the dim lit room, spiderwebs as big as hammocs swayed. Collecting dustwas the Turbokat, now aged so far beyond repair that even if by some myricle the jet once again took to the air, it would be like the Red Lynx's plane Vs the Turbokat, Enforcers and Dark Kat's fearship all in one. "It's useless, buddy. Let's forget it again." T-Bone said. He sounded a hollow shell of the kat he one was. "Another year... who cares?" ________________________________________________________________________ Part Two: The moon was full. Something happened that night that wasn't meant to be. Augestus crept out of bed, and thinking he had found the bathroom, tried the door. It WAS the door to the bathroom after all. When he noticed that the door was not working, he threw the door open, and fell face down in a foot high sheet of dust. The room was dark. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Time and Space began to distort . . . . gIGGaS hOwlEd iN ThE pAIN!!!!!!!!!!! the PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! iN last rEMoRSe, He SHOT oUt A bEaM wItH muCh fOrcE. Chance felt something wet forced inside his mouth. Chance felt Aug's lips upon his and that thing inside his mouth, playing about. Chance tried to move away, but Aug's hand that was playing on top of his head, now held Chance in place, so he couldn't move away. Chance wished that he never accepted Aug's "gracious" proposal. _- - -- ___ - ____ - ____偽- ---偽起__ - __ - -_ _- __- - 起_ --__ _+ "SomEOne! AnyOne! Help ME!" Augestus was downstaris screaming in terror. T-Bone rushed down the stairs to the first level. Razor and Ithicar were already down trying to locate Augestus. T-Bone broke out in a cold sweat. The door that was always shut was open. T-Bone's line of sight was getting fuzzy. He wiped blood off of his brow. He realized that he was sweating. T-Bone turned on the light in the forbidden room. Augestus wasn't in sight, instead, he was on the ceiling, in complete hystarics. ________________________________________________________________________ When Augestus had calmed down, he told what he had seen. The other three listened to him. "It was horrable. All these worlds came as one! It was so loud, then soft, I thought that I was dreaming, then ... everything began to pull apart! something ate everything, Ithicar, Aug, Imperial, ME, everything! I was thrown away, and so was Grandpa. Then everything turned upside down, and I was in this room with bugs and stuff all over me!" "Whada you say T-Bone? This kid crack up, or was it a Paradoxx?" Razor said. "I guess it was a Paradoxx because I remember something like what he's said... and look at me!" T-Bone said. Later, T-Bone returned to bed. He happened to glance at the latest calendar. The female kat of December turned him on. The date on the callender read 4 A.P., but looking this time, the date read 2577 A.D. It must have been an oversite. But no. The date remained firm. There was one thing left he needed to see. He opened again the frobidden door. The room was clean, It actually resembled the hanger it was so many years ago on another planet, brought to Imperial when the Archeivers were run out of Megaluna by the Dark Archeivers. The Turbokat looked new and unused, as if store bought... the way Razor had kept it looking when he was able to... before the Paradoxx of 7577 A.D. which changed everything. The blood was still flowing th the place of sweat on Chance. The world seemed to be different than what it was. Chance had an urge... something he hadn't felt forever. To take back to the skies... to see if Imperial really had changed. He inspected the feul gage in the cockpit of the plane. It was full. He flipped a few switches. The ground on which the Turbokat was on sunk down, revealing another floor to the room. This one was long, and wide enough and tall enough for a jet to go through. Chance reached on the right side of the jet and pushed the throttle to max. A slight noise sounded, then the jet lurched forward, then raced down the hallway. A ramp and a sliding pannel lifted the Turbokat and passenger to the skies of Imperial. The Town of Nyssle was asleep, T-Bone rode the jet higher. The jet acted is if it was new. T-Bone felt reborn. He got so exited. Everything was coming back to him. He rocketed southwest. A single lone mountian rushed at him. It came closer and closer... too close! then it was gone. Behind him the mountian raced away. T-Bone was confused. The Engine's near silent running made the jet almost undetectable in the dark. After a time, T-Bone returned the Turbokat where he found it. It was dawn by this time. T-Bone looked out a window, the clocktower said that it was six. Chance hated how the advanced technology of Imperial was seldomly used... if at all. Ithicar moped down the stairs. "Oh!" she said "I didn't think you were up yet. Sleep well?" "Uh... no. I Uh... um didn't get any sleep after Augestus woke us up." T-Bone said. "I see." Ithicar said with a grin, walking into the kitchen. "Tell me, Chance. How do you feel now?" "Tired... but what's with that?" T-Bone asked back. Ithicar came out with her breakfast, and into the dining are where T-Bone was standing in. "Well, the blood on your old uniform has now clotted into this pretty black color, and I notice your fingers appear fine. Could I lick at your flight suit later?" "Huh?" T-Bone asked, sitting down at the table in the room on Ithicar's right. It was small, and only fit four at a time. Ithicar finished eating a bit of her food before speaking, "Look a yourself. Your clothes desprately need a wash, ubt the rest of you didn't seem to have even woren the clothes, like you changed clothes, or something. Now tell me... aside from tired, how much pain are you in?" T-Bone thought for a second, "None. Whata you getting at?" "Nothing, I am just asking because you appear normal, something I have never seen form you." Ithicar said. "Huh? You got me. I'm outta here." Chance said, getting up. "Has your memory been wiped?!" Ithicar tried again, "Tell me... how far back can you remember?" Ithicar tried again. "Something's happened to you. I know that you weren't in the house. I heard something before I went back to sleep. Now, the outside you is different. Tell me what it is." "I'll see ya. You don't make any sence when you're in one of these moods. You're too much like your grandfather!" T-Bone said, leaving. Razor walked downstairs, looking like he usually did. "Mabye my senses are blurred today... possibly a humid day is at hand." Ithicar thought out loud. "Hey Ithicar... Whada you say?" Razor asked. "Nothing." Ithicar returned. "I know something happened." Ithicar thought, "Chance and Jake are stronger than I am, and yet they sense nothing. Possibly, Augestus and I are ahead of them. After all, I am the most exceptional Keillan in my healing feild, and defencewise, well, Augestus helps me there. I'll-" "Hey, Ith. Have you sensed that T-Bone's changed this last night?" Augestus interrupted her train of thought. "Yes." Ithicar replied, "Neither Chance nor Jake said anything. Something's wrong. Whatever it is, I'm going to find out what it is." "We." Augestus said. "Your face is so pale!" Ithicar said, putting a hand to Augestus' face. She looked at the ghostly complexion with a bit of a passion. "I'm still shook up over last night. Aac! AAC-uh-cais-uh-lo leii- teii-yo-toll-taa! (Awful night!)" Augestus said. "It's a lovely shade..." Ithicar said. "Knock it OFF!" Augestus cried. "If you dont.... I'll cream you!" Ithicar smiled. "Sorry. You look good though!" "I bet I do!" Augestus said. ________________________________________________________________________ Part Four: Augestus and Ithicar were about in the city of Nyssle. Chance wanted the two to leave for a while. "I still don't get it! Chance almost threw us out!" Augestus fumed. "Let lose! Your pale complexion is so stunning!" Ithicar said. Suddenly, a mass of air knocked everyone who heard it to their knees. A very loud big booming sound was associated with it. Some kind of large black bullet shot through the sky. Such a thing was unearthly in a world incontent with many technologial items. The Superhighway, an aquaduct-like raised system of transoprt to only the biggest of cities that travled close to light speed was too much for some. "What was that?!" Augestus asked bewildered. Ithicar got up long enough to hug her brother, sending them back downward. "Now you really look nice!" Ithicar moaned. Augestus gave her a sock in the arm. "I HATE it when you do that! Let go!!" Augestus cried, sturggling to get free. When he did, Ithicar blushed. "I got overexited... did I not?" she laughed. The two returning home, opened the house. "I know you'd like us gone fore ahile bu-" Augestus said, opening the door. The house was empty. The only ones inside were Augestus and Ithicar. "Hey, Augestus! This door is open!" Ithicar called. A regular door. Normally eternally shut, now was ajar. The room inside seemed almost metallic. The floodlights were on, and the long room was nearly bare of furnature. There was a large circular hole in the floor. There were many training ares, that were made for seemingly no reason. The room seemed out of place and out of time. Too advanced, too modern. Ithicar pulled off a sheet from a large cilincar looking object. It was what looked like a dentist chair, with an aparatus wixed overhead. The rectangular object said "Megaluna", "Marra", "Imperial", and "place" written in English. It was closed in a plexigauss cilinder. "Augestus! Whata you think this is?" Ithicar asked. "Ith, I've never seen that writing." Do you suppose this is a way to travel to different worlds outside Imperial? Let's try this one." Augestus said, pointing to "Megaluna". Ithicar pushed a button below the writing. Nothing happened. "Let's try something else." Ithicar said. Under "Place", Augestus pushed a button under the English word, Megakat City. A white light engulfed the room. The silent room was silent again. ________________________________________________________________________ Part Five: The SWAT Kats returned to the hangar. "Radical flying, T-Bone! Havn't seen ya like this for who knows how long!" Razor asserted. "I live to fly!" T-Bone returned. "I've never felt so good!" "Hey, you know Chance, me too. You suppose that Paradoxx did somethin' to us?" Razor asked. "After the date being changed, and the hangar back in shape, and us all of a sudden, I don't think it was a Paradoxx. Augestus isn't torn apart at all! If it was a Paradoxx, Then he.. and he said something about Aug..." Chance tried. "Whada ya say T-Bone?" Razor asserted to his now grinning partner. "I say we know for sure... I hope Aug is controled this time!" T-Bone said. T-Bone hated how sometimes Aug would act gay. ________________________________________________________________________ There was a knock at the door of The Palace of Good and Evil. A chambermaid dressed in an unusual white instead of a light lavender opened the door. "Oh good! You're here! Dink Mask and Kally Moon have been expecting you. Come, walk this way." The chambermaid said, gesturing where to go, walking to wherever she wanted the visitors to go. The SWAT Kats shrugged, gestured like her and followed. The room was extremly high, with exceedingly large panneled windows at the enterance. There was grey couches and a grey rug in the large vaulted room. It seemed to have an areal jungle display blocking the view of how high it is. There were two staricases to the left of the end of the hall. One leading left, one leading right, both goinp three flights up. A huge, but narrow wall was between the two staircases. It was dark. "Razor... What the heck is goin' on?" T-bone asked under his breath as they climbed the left staricase. "I donno. Let's just wait and see." Razor said under his breath. "I bring you the appointed visitors, Lord Dink, Lady Kally!" the chambermaid said, entering the room. "Send them in." The room inside put a trail of light down the staircase, and some of the floor far below. "This way," The chambermaid said, gesturing that they should enter. "You first!" Razor mumbled to T-Bone. T-Bone walked in accompanied by Razor. The two heard the door shut, making the two spin back to see what happened. They were in a long hallway lit by a lights that seemed to not exist The room was still a bit dark. There were many hallways off to the left and right. At length, the SWAT Kats came upon an ornate double door made with some regal wood. The doors opened by themselves. The room inside was grand, and looked very royal, but very eerie. Curtians hung upon the skinny and tall windows. The room had steps leading down to a smaller plaform. There were two couches sitting facing each other. The nearest one was facing away from them. The curtians were oddly purple. A bust of Pallace was over the door on what appeared to be a shelf. Stranger yet, a seemingly stuffed black as midnight was perched upon the bust of Palace. As the SWAT Kats looked at the bizarre raven perched upon the statue of the head, they heard something in their minds, as if the lifeless raven were trying to communicate. It said "Nevermore." "Let's get out of here, Razor." T-Bone whispered. "Roger!" Razor mumbled, mabye too loud, for someone heard him. The silent as a tomb room had a voice. Quoth the voice: "Ah, The SWAT Kats. Come here. It's been a long time." ________________________________________________________________________ To be continued..............
